About Me
Jasmine Lister, L.Ac is a native of Alexandria, Virginia and alumna of St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School where she was a lifer. She received her B.A. in biology and studio art from the University of Virginia. She is a graduate of the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in Portland, Oregon where she received a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.
Since her undergraduate days, she has been tutoring and mentoring students from elementary through high school in all areas of academia and college prep; she has a special interest in working with students with learning disabilities (specifically ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, visual/auditory processing disorder) and executive functioning skills.
She also is strongly passionate about animals, was admitted to the Royal Veterinary College (Honors Program) in 2011, started and directed the Junior Veterinary Camp at St. Stephen's at her alma mater, St. Agnes School in Alexandria, Virginia and Catlin Gabel School in Portland Oregon (2010-2016). Additionally, she founded and directed United Vets in Training (UVIT) Helping Spay Panama in Panama City, Panama which connects volunteers globally to help Spay Panama, a non profit spay/neuter program.
Jasmine brings her decade plus experience of working with children and families to her practice. She specializes in facial rejuvenation, dermatology, stress and weight management. In the Spring of 2018, she was awarded the prestigious Trudy McAlister Foundation scholarship. That spring, she became a certified Empress Facials™ specialist, after completing a facial rejuvenation training under Dr. Ganging Zhou, L.Ac., Ph.D; she also completed The Five Elements of Inner Nature in the Cycles of Time with Jennifer Labbienti, BA. In the Fall of 2017, she successfully completed courses in Animal Acupuncture (taught by Dr. Gene Bruno, the board director of the American Board of Animal Acupuncture) as well as Facial Diagnosis (taught by C.T. Holman, Director of Development at the Lotus Institute). Additionally, in the Fall of 2013, she completed an intensive Ayurvedic Nutritional Therapy program with Karta Purkh Singh Khalsa of Bastyr University.

Starting the Fall of 2018, she will be enrolling in the international Dermatology in Chinese Medicine Diploma Course taught by Dr. Mazin Al-Khafaji of the Avicenna Centre for Chinese Medicine in the UK.
Jasmine Lister, L.Ac will be the first TCM practitioner specializing in Dermatology in the DC, VA and MD regions. She is an avid traveler and takes her love for healing wherever she goes (hence Bliss Bar Worldwide and UVIT Helping Spay Panama).
